Our Surf & Turf Feast had the place hopping last week, and what a pleasure to see such a great turnout for this longtime club tradition. Everyone enjoyed the chance to catch up  with old friends and get to know some new ones.

The Fun Bunch, led by Dave Kelly and Dan Martin, served up a terrific feast of beef, shrimp and tasty sides. The Dessert Divas followed with an irresistible assortment of desserts.

The decorating team, including Linda Coffman and David Gillespie and his wife Barbara, helped give the room a festive Oktoberfest atmosphere. Behind the scenes, Tricia Simpson organized the raffle donations, while President Bob Hall called the winning numbers, with Ben Weber providing some extra volume for the back of the room. Our “Donation Models” (otherwise known as raffle runners) — Laura Munson, Diane Ruckman, and Kathy Tagnesi — kept the prizes moving.

Thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes, helped make the evening  happen, and, most importantly, showed up. That’s how we keep a good Rotary tradition going strong.
