Awards Night

The night was filled with laughter, great conversations, and recognition of some of our finest members. The evening began with Tricia Simpson’s heartfelt memorial to 5 members who passed this past year –
John Capehart, Bob DeMott, Dave Miles, Rich Reedy, and Jay Russell. Members of their families were asked to stand and receive the club’s applause in appreciation for their loved ones’ contributions to our club.
Next, Jean Barch presented Perfect Attendance Award pins for the Rotary year July 2024-June, 2025. Pins were given to John Elrick (2 yrs), Angie Hausman (2 yrs), Donna Parrish (2 yrs), Dave Sweeney(2 yrs), Shane Wagoner (2 yrs), Darcus Breneman (4 yrs), Phil Griffin (5 yrs), Bob Hall (5 yrs), Paul Frank (6 yrs), Jean Barch (6 yrs), Pat Kofalt (7 yrs), Jonathan
Snowden (8 yrs), Tootie Rinker (9 yrs), John Lamanna(13 yrs), Don Louque (16 yrs), Scott Arthur (17 yrs), Darla McCrary (18 yrs), and Gary Chrisman (30 yrs). Other recipients who were not present will receive their pins at a later time.
Heather Hovermale presented the Phil Sprenkle Vocational Award to James Imoh in recognition of living out the motto, “Service Above Self” in his community and professional life.
Paul Harris Fellow recognition is given in appreciation to anyone who makes a gift of $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation. Gary Chrisman recognized the following people as Paul Harris Fellows (the number indicates how many donations have been made after the initial one has been made):

John Elrick was recognized as a Major Donor ($10,000 or more) to the Rotary Foundation.
Finally, Dave Kelly and Don Louque were both recognized for their exceptional continuous service to the club with DSA+ (Multiple Distinguished Service Awards).
