Service in Action: Joint Blood Drive Deemed a “Spectacular Success”
Community partnership delivered big results last Tuesday as our Rotary club teamed up with the local Ruritan club for a joint blood drive.
Rotarian Byron Brill reported that the turnout was a “spectacular success,” with an impressive 45 donors rolling up their sleeves to give.
The Impact of 45 Donors
-
Direct Community Support: With every single donation capable of saving up to three lives, the day’s efforts will impact more than 130 local hospital patients in need of emergency trauma care, surgeries, and ongoing medical treatments.
-
The Power of Partnership: Combining forces with our friends in the Ruritan club demonstrated how much more we can achieve when community service organizations unite behind a common need.
-
Dedicated Generosity: From the volunteers managing the intake and canteen to the donors who took time out of their busy schedules, the day was a powerful testament to “Service Above Self.”
A huge thank-you to Byron Brill for coordinating, to the Ruritan club for their dedicated collaboration, and most of all to everyone who rolled up a sleeve to make a life-saving difference.
